Edward R. (Ted) McPherson Receives National Aeronautics and Space Administration Exceptional Public Service Medal

On February 26, 2010, the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Charles F. Bolden, Jr. presented Edward R. (Ted) McPherson, Chief Executive Officer of InterSolve Group, with the NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D.C. This prestigious award recognizes Mr. McPherson “For exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to NASA as a member of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Advisory Council” from November 2005 to September 2009.

The letter and plaque from NASA accompanying the Medal reads, in part, “Your participation as a Council member during periods of great challenge and success for NASA has been very meaningful to this Agency … Your contribution will benefit the Nation for generations to come.”
